RWK Goodman nominated for Corporate Law Firm of the Year at Insider South West Dealmakers Awards
A strong year of growth for RWK Goodman’s corporate team in the south west has seen it recognised with a nomination for Corporate Law Firm of the Year at a leading regional business awards.
The firm’s corporate team has been nominated at the Insider Media South West Dealmakers Awards following a surge in client work and team expansion over the previous 12 months.
The award recognises law firms which had the most outstanding year advising businesses in the region between April 2024 and March 2025. Over that period, the team advised on more than 30 M&A transactions and recruited eight new members to meet increasing demand for work.
Venture capital partner Scott Preece was one such partner hire into the firm’s growing Bristol office which supplemented the team’s expertise, with work supporting regional, national, and international clients meaning the team saw a significant increase in deal value and overall revenue.

The firm was also nominated in the Medium-sized Deal of the Year award for its support of credit risk technology group LendingMetrics on the securing of a significant investment by LDC.
RWK Goodman has been a regular nominee for the awards in recent years, as the team continues to expand and win leading work within the region. The winners will be announced at the Bristol Marriott in a black-tie event on June 26.
