RWK Goodman advises Rockpool on its investment in assistive technology company CareScribe

RWK Goodman has advised private equity firm, Rockpool, on its investment in Bristol-based technology company CareScribe.

CareScribe is a rapidly growing technology company which works to enhance educational and workplace outcomes for neurodivergent and disabled people.

A RWK Goodman team led by partner David Gerber advised on the transaction for Rockpool, with additional corporate support provided by partner Iain Butler, senior associate Michelle Waligóra, associate Yasmine Grove and trainee Neve Lehrian. The wider team included Vijay Ladhani (banking); Carl Selby (regulatory); Charlotte Ebbutt (commercial and IP); Charlotte Marshall (employment) and Jennifer Guest (real estate).

David said: “This is a significant investment by Rockpool to support CareScribe’s ambitious growth strategy, supporting neurodiverse and disabled people within the workplace and education.

Alongside RWK Goodman, Rockpool was also advised on the investment by Cortus Advisory (financial), NGM Tax (tax- legal), Claritas (tax), Strategy& (commercial), Catalysis (organisational), Palladium (technology), WA Comms (political) and RSM (corporate finance).

The shareholders of CareScribe were advised by Azets (corporate finance), Roxburgh Milkins (legal), and Claritas (tax).
