About David:
David is a Partner in our Corporate Team based in our London office.
David has more than two decades’ experience advising clients on a range of corporate transactional matters, including cross-border and domestic disposals and acquisitions, joint ventures and fundraisings. He has particular expertise in private equity transactions and has acted for emerging growth and expanding businesses, funds, family offices, entrepreneurs and management teams across various sectors.
David has been listed in many of the leading legal directories for his work in M&A and private equity, including The Best Lawyers in the United Kingdom (2021-to date) for M&A, in IFLR (2018-to date) as a ‘notable practitioner’ for Private Equity & M&A UK; and as Deal Maker of the Year 2023 (Finance Monthly) for acting for Rockpool Investments on its investment in Rosetta Brands.
Experience:
- Advising Rockpool Investments on various transactions, including its investment in CareScribe, an assistive technology company; its investment in Oxford Online Pharmacy; and the sale of Alchemist, a learning and development business, to Horizon Capital
- Advising Bluesky, a rigid packing specialist, on its sale to Berlin Packaging
- Advising management of a private equity backed multinational business on an equity incentive plan;
- Advising the founders and owners of Continental Bottle Company, Ltd, a glass packaging provider, on its sale to TricorBraun, the global packaging leader
