About Melanie:

Melanie is a Senior Associate in our Personal Injury specializing in complex brain & spinal Injury cases, and is based in our Bath office

Melanie joined RWK Goodman in 2024. She graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Law and Criminology in 2003. After taking a gap year to travel round the world, Melanie returned to Cardiff in 2004 to complete the Legal Practice Course. She undertook her training contract at Hugh James Solicitors before moving to Newlaw Solicitors specialising in Brain injury cases.

Melanie has experience in both Claimant and Defendant work but now specialises in representing claimants in complex brain / spinal Injury cases. Her experience covers road traffic accidents, accidents at work, public liability claims, complex regional pain syndrome, Function Neurological disorder and complex brain and orthopaedic injuries.

Melanie is an APIL approved Senior Litigator and APIL Brain injury specialist.

Melanie spends her spare time with her husband and 2 young children. She enjoys cooking, reading, travel, live music and eating out with friends. She likes to stay fit and is a regular in her local gym.
