RWK Goodman shortlisted at 2025 British Legal Awards

A strong year of growth for RWK Goodman has resulted in the firm being nominated for Mid-Sized UK Firm of the Year at a leading national legal industry awards.
The firm has been shortlisted for UK Firm of the Year in the Mid-Sized category at the 2025 British Legal Awards, affirming a successful year of RWK Goodman’s growth and achievement against its overall strategy.
The awards, organised by leading legal publication Law.com International, recognise those who are driving the legal profession forward, with the UK Firm of the Year category recognising firms which are not only leaders within their chosen markets, but also made significant progress over the previous year.
RWK Goodman achieved more than 26 per cent growth across the last two financial years, with all three of the firm’s practice divisions – commercial, private, and injury – expanding across the board, while the firm’s sector focus in commercial continued to develop, with the firm’s Health & Social Care team reporting a 34% year-on-year increase in revenue.
The firm has also expanded its wider footprint, opening a new office in Bristol in March 2024 with additional recruitment of six partners into the office since September 2024.
Further expansion also included the appointment of a team of six, including two partners, to the firm’s compensation protection unit and the absorption of Swindon injury firm SJ Edney & Co in August 2024. As part of the firm’s wider growth strategy, it will continue to identify similar opportunities in the market.
Managing partner of RWK Goodman, Paul Daniels, said: “This nomination is a strong affirmation of our ambitious strategy and profile of growth over the last 12 months, and it’s pleasing to see the hard work of everyone in the firm recognised in such a manner.
“This type of recognition is only possible because of our continued commitment to our people and our culture, as it’s through them we have seen such strong growth over the last decade – growing more than 200 per cent since 2015 – and I’m positive we can continue on this path in the coming years and solidify ourselves further in the market.”
The nomination follows the firm strong positioning in the 2025 The Lawyer Top 200 rankings, jumping 11 positions from the previous year. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at City Central at the HAC in London on November 26.
