RWK Goodman has bolstered its residential property offerings in the South West with the appointment of Helen Sandrone as a partner in the firm’s Bristol office.

Helen joins the firm from Bristol firm Cooke Painter, where she was previously a director and head of the firm’s conveyancing department. As a Chartered Legal Executive and Licenced Conveyancer, she had advised clients across England and Wales on matters across freehold and leasehold properties, including right-to-buy, help-to-buy, lifetime ISAs, equity release, and remortgages.

She also is the founder and chair of the Bristol Law Membership Group, which took over from the local CILEX branches, uniting over 215 professionals from secretaries to barristers in a network focused on learning and collaboration.

Helen said: “I’m excited to be joining the RWK Goodman team and a growing team in Bristol that is committed to delivering the highest possible quality of service to clients. Having supported scores of clients with their property needs, I’m keen to expand on this further with RWK Goodman and the team they’ve got in this region as we continue to build its capabilities.”

The appointment is the latest within the firm’s growing Bristol office, following the additions of dispute resolution partner Simon Price and commercial partner Mike Ahyow in April 2025.

Angus Williams, head of RWK Goodman’s Residential Property, Farms, and Estates team, said: “Helen is an incredibly talented and passionate individual and I’m pleased to be able to welcome her to our growing residential property team.

“Her skills and knowledge of the region and the industry perfectly complement both the key needs for our clients but also the main strategic aims for the team.”
