About Miryam:
Miryam is a Senior Paralegal in our Clinical Negligence team. She a particular focus on representing families in inquests and fatal claims.
Miryam obtained her Bachelors of Law at the University of Law and went on to obtain a master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam. In 2022, Miryam completed her BPC studies at the University of Law in Bristol and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in March 2023.
Miryam regularly represents bereaved families in inquests. Recent examples include:
- Deaths in mental health hospitals
- Deaths in prisons
- Deaths after substandard hospital care
Miryam also manages a varied clinical negligence caseload including:
- Surgical negligence claims
- Delay in diagnosis claims
- Fatal claims
- Mismanagement of or incorrect dispensation of prescription medicines
- Orthopaedic injuries
Miryam speaks Dutch and French fluently.
