About Maud:
A dual-qualified lawyer, Solicitor of England & Wales and French Avocate, Maud specialises in cross-border personal injury litigation and assists her clients both in England and in France. She is based in the London office, with a secondary practice in Paris.
Maud has joined RWK Goodman in February 2024, after 13 years developing the Claimant practice at niche firm Pierre Thomas Law.

Experience:
- Klifa v Slater [2022] EWHC 427 (QB) Established jurisdiction of the English courts in a skiing accident in France after Brexit
- Owen v Galgey [2020] EWHC 3546 (QB): successful at preliminary issue on applicable law under Rome II Regulation
- Secured a £600,000 compensation, after a 2/3-1/3 liability split, for a French young man who suffered a moderately severe brain injury in a road traffic accident in England
- Recovered €180,000 for a young model who was the victim of a gas explosion in France and suffered facial scarring
- Settled for over £200,000, four weeks before trial in the High Court of Justice, the claim of a French woman who had suffered severe orthopaedic injuries in a ski collision in France, caused by an English snowboarder
- Regularly instructed by lawyers in Ireland, Scotland and England & Wales to provide legal opinions and French law expert's reports
