About Amy

Amy is a Solicitor in our Private Client Team based in Swindon. Amy specialises in Wills, estate planning, estate administration and Powers of Attorney

Amy completed her Law Degree and Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Bournemouth University and undertook a year long industrial placement in Blake Morgan’s Clinical Negligence team in Oxford as part of her studies. Upon completing her LPC Amy worked in the Family and Residential Property teams for a year before joining RWK Goodman.

Amy joined RWK Goodman as a Secretary in 2012 and has gained valuable experience in a variety of roles in our Family, Personal Injury and Private Client teams in our Bath and Wiltshire offices, including 6 years as a Paralegal in our Family team. Amy qualified into our Wiltshire Private Client team in January 2021.

Amy is able to advise on the following:

  • Wills and Estate Planning
  • Estate Administration
  • Lasting, Enduring and General Powers of Attorney
  • Deeds of Variation

In addition, Amy is building her experience in Trust creation and administration and personal taxation matters under the supervision of Head of the Wilshire Private Client team, Mandy Casavant.

Memberships

Amy is currently studying for full membership of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
