RWK Goodman’s family team has once again been recognised for its high-quality client support and specialist expertise in children’s law with nominations for four industry-leading awards.

The firm has been shortlisted for Children’s Law Team of the Year at the 2026 LexisNexis Family Law Awards, which looks to recognise firms that have ‘demonstrated it has provided outstanding quality of legal service for its clients and has displayed high levels of teamwork’ with the wider industry.

RWK Goodman’s family team, which was named Law Firm of the Year (Regional) and highly commended in the Children Law Team of the Year categories at last year’s awards, has been shortlisted in the category for the second straight year, signifying its consistency in service and specialist knowledge across all elements of children’s law.

Richard Ellis, head of RWK Goodman’s national family team, said: “This year’s Family Law Award nominations showcase the ever-growing strength of our practice on a national and international level, particularly within our children’s law team, and it’s fantastic to see the team recognised in this manner.

“Our team has been involved in some of the most significant matters in the industry over the past year, helping set precedent and address cases which stretch well beyond our borders – and these nominations reflect the tireless work which has gone into supporting our clients over the course of this year.”

In addition, partners Kim Lehal and Keeley Lengthorn have also been highlighted for their individual capabilities and work within the wider legal community, with both London-based partners picking up individual nominations.

Both Keeley and Kim have been shortlisted for the Family Law Partner of the Year award, which celebrates those who have made a major contribution to family law through their practice and strategic vision through outstanding leadership, while Kim, who is head of the firm’s international children practice, has also been shortlisted for International Family Lawyer of the Year for the third year running.

Kim said: “To be shortlisted for International Family Lawyer of the Year for the third consecutive year and Partner of the Year is a tremendous honour. These nominations reflect the strength and growth of our International Children team and our shared commitment to supporting families through complex cross-border disputes. I am particularly proud of the strong relationships we have built with lawyers and professionals across the world. International family law is founded on collaboration, and those connections are invaluable in helping us achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.”

Keeley, who heads up the firm’s London Public Law team, said: “Being shortlisted for the Family Law Partner of the Year alongside such an array of talent is a fantastic honour and it’s very rewarding to see the hard work supporting both the wider legal community but also our clients over the past year recognised in this manner – Its particularly humbling to be shortlisted alongside my fellow “KL” Kim Lehal and this is testament to the growing London Family team. This year has been a landmark year for our team, and we look forward to celebrating all of these achievements with the wider community at this year’s awards.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London on November 18.
