Drafting amendments to protect clients & save them money

• National Insurance – We amended the compensation wording so that no national insurance was deducted, saving our client over £6,000.
• Confidentiality – The redundancy had arisen in difficult circumstances and our client was concerned his reputation would suffer. We inserted a clause to restrict the company from discussing the contents of the agreement or bad mouthing our client.
• Legal Costs – The company agreed to increase their contribution to legal costs to cover our additional work.
