One of the most dangerous consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic has to be the impact on the otherwise routine management and review of patients. Antenatal NHS maternity care in the UK has become highly standardised to ensure best practice and to enable maternity staff to hopefully make an early diagnosis of potential complications of pregnancy.
