HR Hub: Discrimination case law update

RWK Goodman and Juice Recruitment are delighted to be hosting their next HR Hub webinar.

During the event we’ll be reviewing some recent and relevant discrimination case law (as well as highlighting other developments in employment law) including:

  • British Airways plc v Rollett and others and Minister for Women and Equalities (Intervener): Claimants without protected characteristic of disadvantaged group but sharing particular disadvantage may bring indirect discrimination claims.
  • Turner-Robson and others v Chief Constable of Thames Valley Police: Promotion with no competitive process was unlawful positive discrimination.
  • The Royal Mint vs. Sarah Bradley: When does an employer have to reconsider whether an employee can rescind their resignation?
  • Orwin v East Riding of Yorkshire Council: dismissal for intentionally provocative email signature was not discriminatory.

During the discussion, you are welcome to share your experiences with fellow HR professionals in a safe and confidential environment ('Chatham House' rules apply).
