About Layla

Layla graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 in LLB Law and completed her LPC at the University of Law in Bristol. Layla joined RWK Goodman in 2017 as a Paralegal in our Real Estate team. Prior to joining RWK Goodman, Layla gained 3 years of experience working in various legal teams.

Layla commenced her training contract with the firm in September 2019 and worked in the Personal Injury and Property Disputes teams before qualifying as a solicitor in the Real Estate team in July 2021. Layla has experience in landlord and tenant transactions, particularly in the retail, hospitality and office sectors. She also deals with acquisitions, disposals and refinancing.

Interests

Layla is a volunteer at Bath Gateway Out and About, a local charity that provides social activities for adults with learning disabilities. Layla is a member of the firm’s Wellbeing Committee and a qualified mental health first aider. In her spare time Layla enjoys training and walking with her border collie.
