David advises a wide range of developers and investors and has a particular focus on mixed use-residential (including build to rent), infrastructure, hotels and leisure, retirement living and student accommodation. He also advises investors, propcos and corporate occupiers on real estate acquisition, financing, joint ventures, asset optimisation, lettings and sales.

David has broad sector experience having worked for a major international real estate developer as well as for a top international real estate law firm. He has advised FTSE 100 companies, major international developers, national house builders, pension funds, HM Government, real estate investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, royal families, ultra-high-net-worth individuals and overseas investors. The nature of these transactions often require him leading and co-ordinating a cross-departmental team providing advice on associated planning, construction, tax, finance and corporate issues.

Over the last few years, David has advised Chelsea Football club, Aviva Investors, Taylor Wimpey, Barratt, Berkeley Homes, Pinnacle Regeneration, HS2 and the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport together with a wide range of SME investors and developers on complex development and investment projects in London and the rest of the UK. He has also advised overseas family offices and private equity funds acquiring and developing super prime London real estate.

David is an officer in the British Army (Reserves) having trained and commissioned at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
