RWK Goodman nominated for four LexisNexis Family Law Awards

RWK Goodman’s family team has been recognised for its high-quality client support and community contribution with nominations for four industry-leading awards.
The firm has been shortlisted for Children’s Law Team of the Year and Family Law Firm of the Year (Regional) at the 2025 LexisNexis Family Law Awards, which looks to recognise firms that have ‘demonstrated it has provided outstanding quality of legal service for its clients and has displayed high levels of teamwork’ with the wider industry.
Richard Ellis, head of the firm’s Family team, said: “It is a testament to the strength of our wider family practice and the growth of the team over the last 12 months that we have been nominated for these awards.
“The team has gone from strength to strength both in the addition of wider expertise which has helped us scale up our practice, but in the complexity and profile of cases we work with, and it is fantastic to see the team recognised for their dedication to supporting all our clients.”
In addition, partners Kim Lehal and Keeley Lengthorn have also picked up individual nominations at the awards for their day-to-day work and wider support of the legal community.
Kim, who is head of the firm’s international children practice, has been shortlisted for International Family Lawyer of the Year for the second year running thanks to strong expansion of the team over the last 12 months and building a growing caseload dealing with complex international child abduction, surrogacy, and children law.
Kim said: “It is an honour to be nominated for this prestigious award once again as it reflects the growing strength of our firm’s international family practice. Over the last 12 months, we’ve continued to grow the area at speed and support families on a range of complex matters, and these nominations are a strong affirmation of the team’s dedication to our clients and our position as industry leaders in this area of law.”
Keeley, who is head of the firm’s London public law team, has been nominated for the Family Law Champion Award off the back of her years-long campaign to introduce George’s Law – a policy which would introduce bereavement leave for parents who lose a baby under 24 weeks gestation.
Keeley said: “Seeing the success of the campaign for George is already enough of a reward, but it is touching to be recognised by the wider industry for the years of hard work and dedication towards achieving this reform and supporting the wider legal community.“
The awards are the latest nominations for the family team, with Keeley also shortlisted in the Chambers UK Awards for Outstanding Contribution to ESG earlier in the month.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London on November 19.
