Royds lawyers at Swedish Design Exhibition

An inspiring example was last week’s Exhibition of Swedish Design for which Ambassador Nicola Clase had turned over the state rooms of her imposing Adam residence in Portland Place.

A group of Royds lawyers spent an enjoyable afternoon at the exhibition, listening to presentations from rising stars amongst young Swedish designers and viewing the exhibits which were shown off to great effect against the neoclassical backdrop of the residence. Intellectual property partner Stephen Welfare  was in his element comparing the ideas and techniques on display to those he regularly witnesses at trade shows in the UK.

Our visit also coincided with that Prince Carl Philip who has a keen interest in design, having studied graphic design both in Sweden and the US, and it was good to see such high level support for this excellent event.
