First Ever World Cerebral Palsy Day – today!

The first ever World Cerebral Palsy Day, which is observed today (Tuesday 4 September 2012), has been introduced by Australia-based Cerebral Palsy Alliance as an innovative way for 17 million people with CP to tell the world how they want to make their life better.

The day is promoted by organisations across the world, and sponsored by Bobath Centre in the UK. The theme for this landmark day is “Change my world in one minute”.

At Withy King, we are proud of our history of acting for people suffering from Cerebral Palsy as a result of clinical negligence. Obtaining compensation to help them meet their needs often makes all the difference to their lives, and we feel honoured to be able to help. We are pleased to join organisations across the globe in promoting what we think is a brilliant cause. Please join us by playing your part in helping make a brighter future for people living with this condition.

What you can do today

Upload your ideas to help make life for people living with cerebral palsy easier here - www.worldcpday.org - until the end of September. You can also vote for your favourite idea.

This is a real opportunity to help make life for millions of people living with cerebral palsy worldwide easier, as the winning idea will be developed by a team of inventors.

If you would like to discuss any legal aspects of living with cerebral palsy please contact our Clinical Negligence team.
