Expertise and client service highlighted as RWK Goodman named in directories
RWK Goodman has been once again recognised for its expertise and client service across a range of practice areas with recognition in the latest editions of leading legal directories.
The firm has been named as a leading firm in the 2026 editions of the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners UK, as well as the 2025 edition of Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guides across all three of the firm’s main practice divisions.
Additionally, lawyers within the firm have also been recognised as practice leaders, with 44 lawyers ranked across Chambers and Partners and Chambers High Net Worth, and 28 named in this year’s Legal 500.
The rankings stem from a thorough analysis of the UK’s legal market, interviewing more than 25,000 lawyers and clients over the course of the year to ascertain the individuals and firms which are the most regarded in a practice area and region.
RWK Goodman retained all six of its top tier rankings from the previous year in the latest edition of Legal 500 rankings, with the firm highly regarded for its work with claimants in clinical negligence and personal injury within the South West and South East. It also maintained top rankings in family practice within the South West and contentious trusts and probate work in the South West.
The firm was recommended in 29 total practice areas, including a first ranking for the firm’s corporate work in Bristol, which has grown since the firm’s office opened in March 2024, and a new ranking for the firm’s contentious trusts and probate work in the South East.
Individually, clinical negligence partner Paul Rumley has been named the latest addition to the ‘Hall of Fame’ for his work with claimants in the South West, while Catherine Morgan (Family) and Mark Hambleton (Personal Injury) have been named ‘next generation partners’.
In Chambers and Partners and High Net Worth guides, the firm also maintained its eight top tier recommendations – achieving two each in Private Wealth Law (Somerset and Swindon), Personal Injury (South West and Thames Valley), and Clinical Negligence (South West and Thames Valley) as well as a ranking in Family in the South West and a national ranking for Horse Racing & Equestrian work. The firm also achieved a new ranking in the UK-wide Court of Protection: Property & Affairs category.
Four lawyers have also been recommended for the first time in this year’s Chambers and Partners guides, while in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide, Ed Vidnes has moved up to a Band 1 ranking for his expertise in Private Wealth Law within Somerset.
Paul Daniels, managing partner of RWK Goodman, said: “Given our people and their specialist expertise are at the heart of our approach to client service, it is a proud moment to see this reaffirmed with a strong showing in this year’s legal directories.
”The continued growth of our service offerings and depth of expertise across all three of our practice divisions is a strength for us as a business. To see more areas and individuals recognised for that this year demonstrates our commitment to better support our clients and those we partner with.”
