Directors get fit for business at Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby and their official IFA and legal partners, Fidelius and Withy King, teamed up to deliver a lively and informative seminar to 40 employers at Farleigh House, Bath Rugby’s elite training facility.

The breakfast event kicked off with hot bacon rolls followed by a presentation from Bath Rugby’s Managing Director Tarquin McDonald and Performance Director David Thompson. They shared Bath Rugby’s strategy for motivating their players and the parallels that can be drawn between sport and business.

James Biggs, Head of Employee Benefits at Fidelius, provided insights on pensions and other financial aspects of staff retention and reward while Malcolm Gregory, head of the employment law team at Withy King, discussed contractual obligations and other employment directives.

The seminar, which took place at Farleigh House, Farleigh Hungerford on Wednesday, 4 February, was followed by a tour of Bath Rugby’s training grounds and facilities at Farleigh.
