The Labour government has published a new White Paper focused on reducing net migration, whilst simultaneously promoting growth and recruitment from the UK workforce. The Paper set out significant reforms to the care sector, including the closure of overseas recruitment routes for social care visas. This could not have come at a worse time for care providers.
