WITNESS APPEAL: DID YOU WORK AT THE VICKERS SHIPYARD BUILDING HMS SHEFFIELD, HMS CARDIFF OR ANY OTHER SHIPS IN THAT CLASS?

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of a gentleman who has sadly developed and died from mesothelioma, an asbestos related illness.

We are investigating how he may have come into contact with asbestos and are interested in speaking with anyone who worked at the Vickers Shipyard in Barrow whilst building HMS Sheffield, HMS Cardiff or any other ships in that class particularly in 1974 to 1980.

Our client’s family are therefore appealing to anyone who worked at the Vickers Shipyard during this time to come forward to tell us what they remember about the work they did, and/or the use of asbestos on board these ships.
