Mesothelioma Awareness Day | Friday 25 September
Shine a light on HASAG’s unrelenting community support, whilst commemorating Swindon’s industrial history of Mesothelioma. On behalf of HASAG and RWK Goodman’s Respiratory Disease team we would love to invite you to our 2026 Swindon Mesothelioma Awareness Day.
Celebrating HASAG’s 20th Anniversary, the event will be part of HASAG’s 20 for 20 events series. On annual Mesothelioma Awareness Day we will commemorate Swindon’s rich industrial heritage whilst also remembering the impact this has had on the local community who have been affected by mesothelioma, an entirely preventable yet incurable cancer. Hear about the unrelenting support HASAG have provided to people across Wiltshire, as well as leading and local voices across the asbestos community and, help to raise awareness of the ongoing danger asbestos presents.
The event will close with a ceremonial dove release, along with drinks and nibbles so guests can continue to share their stories.
Date: Friday 25 September
Time: 11am – 1pm
