Helen Sandrone nominated for 2025 Inspirational Women in Law Awards
A partner in RWK Goodman’s Bristol Residential Property team has been spotlighted for her work improving equality and diversity within the legal profession with a shortlisting at a prestigious industry awards.
Helen Sandrone has been nominated in the CILEX Lawyer of the Year category at the 2025 Inspirational Women in Law Awards, which recognise those who are both excelling in their practice area as well as pushing for change to help ensure women working in the legal industry are able to thrive.
The CILEX Lawyer of the Year category recognises a women who has qualified through the CILEX route and demonstrated an ‘unwavering commitment to advancing gender equality within the legal profession’.
Helen, who joined RWK Goodman’s Bristol office in May 2025 and advises clients on matters across freehold and leasehold properties, is also the founder and chair of the Bristol Law Membership Group. The group, which took over from the local CILEX branches, unites over 215 professionals from secretaries to barristers in a network focused on learning and collaboration.
Helen said: “To be shortlisted alongside some truly distinguished and talented voices in the legal industry at this year’s Inspirational Women in Law awards is an incredibly proud moment.
“The industry has already come so far in championing diverse voices, but this work can never be complete. I’m motivated to continue pushing for further change and recognition of the many unique talents which make up this industry, not just in the CILEX route, but beyond to all those who are redefining what is possible in law.”
This year’s edition of the awards is the 10th edition and will also be integrated into the Next Hundred Years Centenary Celebrations of Women in Law, as part of the wider Next 100 Years campaign, which seeks to accelerate the pace of change by encouraging collaboration across the profession and improve the visibility of women in law.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at the London offices of DLA Piper on November 4.
