Partnering with Couch to Carbon Zero
Expanding our sustainability journey through climate education and awareness.
As part of our continued commitment to environmental responsibility, we have partnered with Couch to Carbon Zero, an organisation dedicated to increasing understanding of the climate and nature crisis. Through this partnership, colleagues across our firm have taken part in interactive sessions designed to build awareness, inspire behaviour change, and help individuals make more informed, climate‑conscious decisions.
Introduced as part of our wider Responsible Business strategy, these sessions support us in strengthening our environmental knowledge as a firm—ensuring that our drive toward sustainability is grounded in insight as well as action. By engaging with Couch to Carbon Zero, we’re equipping our people with the tools to understand their impact, explore practical ways to reduce emissions, and contribute to a healthier planet.
Our work with Couch to Carbon Zero forms an important part of our journey towards becoming a more sustainable business, reinforcing our commitment to reach net zero and to work towards B Corp certification.
Sustainable Choices for New Starters
From day one, we empower our people to make a positive environmental choice that reflects our commitment to sustainability.
New colleagues can select a reusable water bottle made from recycled materials, a coffee cup crafted from marine plastic collected from UK seas and beaches, or choose to have a tree planted on their behalf. Each option helps cut down on single-use waste and supports our commitment to reducing our environmental impact.
Working with Co Forest
We take pride in implementing sustainable practices across different aspects of our firm to help reduce our carbon footprint.
One way we do this is by supporting Co Forest, a Bristol-based initiative dedicated to creating thriving native woodlands that connect ecological corridors and restore biodiversity.
In 2022, we sponsored an acre of land at Co Forest’s site near Almondsbury, Bristol and a group of colleagues visited the site to plant over a thousand trees combined. Since then, we have continued to visit the site to carry out maintenance and repair storm damage to the woodlands being created there.
Today, our plot is home to trees standing 5–6 feet tall, and well beyond their protective tubes, and attracting a variety of wildlife.
