About Nadine:
Nadine is a Senior Associate in our Compensation Protection Unit team based out of our Bath office.
Nadine qualified as a Solicitor in February 2019 and has since worked within private client, focusing mainly on Court of Protection and Professional Trusts. She has a wealth of experience working with clients who have brain injuries, mental health disorders and learning difficulties.
Nadine started her career at NewLaw Solicitors, working in the Employers and Public Liability litigation team before training and qualifying as a Solicitor into the Court of Protection and Trusts team. After 11 years at NewLaw Solicitors, Nadine joined RWK Goodman in January 2025.
Nadine assists clients who have Court appointed financial Deputies to ensure their compensation funds are managed appropriately but also ensuring the clients have independence where possible to increase their quality of life. She works closely with not only the clients but their family, friends and other professionals.
Nadine's role includes:
- Applications to the Court of Protection
- Liaising and holding meetings with clients, their families and other professionals
- Reporting to the Office of the Public Guardian
- Managing directly employed support workers
- Budgeting for clients, ensuring each client's needs and hobbies are taken into consideration
- Assisting with the purchase and adaptations of client properties
- Working with Independent Financial Advisors and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team to provide the client with the best support
- Assisting the Deputies with submissions for Periodical Payments as set out in the Periodical Payment Orders
