WITNESS APPEAL: Did you work for the Metal Box Company Limited in the 1950s – 1990s?

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of the late Edward Facey who sadly developed and died from mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer.

Edward began working for the Metal Box Company in Worcester in 1954. He transferred to the Westhoughton factory in 1960. He worked there until his retirement in 1992. The company changed its name to Carnaud Metal Box PLC and changed its name again to Crown Packaging UK PLC.

Mr Facey’s family are appealing to anyone who may have worked at the Metal Box Company between 1954 and 1992 to come forward and tell us what they can remember.
