WITNESS APPEAL: DID YOU WORK FOR TATE & LYLE SILVERTOWN OR TELEPHONE RENTALS? DID YOU WORK WITH ROY DICKINS?

Posted in Mesothelioma

Our specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of Roy Dickins who has sadly died from mesothelioma, a form of lung cancer caused by asbestos exposure.

We are investigating how Roy came into contact with asbestos during his working life.  We are interested in speaking with anyone who worked alongside him at the following companies:

  • Tate & Lyle, Silvertown between around 1969 and 1970
  • Telephone Rentals between around 1971 and 1996

Roy worked as an industrial cleaner at Tate & Lyle’s sugar refinery in Silvertown

He went on to work as a telephone engineer/wireman for Telephone Rentals which was later taken over by Mercury and then Siemens.

Roy’s widow, June, is appealing to anyone who worked for the above companies, particularly during the relevant periods to come forward to tell us what they remember about asbestos.
