Withy King shortlisted as Property Law Firm of the Year
Withy King’s Commercial Property team are delighted to be amongst the region's top lawyers, agents, deals, developers and buildings in the running to win a prize at the South West Property Awards. The team has been shortlisted as Property Law Firm of the Year.
It has been a great year for the team. Highlights have included:
- supporting the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust to create the largest wetland area in the UK on the Steart Peninsula in the Severn Estuary
- the acquisition of the Abbey Crescent Development Site in Torquay comprising of a mixed use scheme including restaurant, bar and retail units, residential units and holiday apartments
- the appointment to act for St John’s Hospital, Bath to deal with the charity’s strategic investment property sales, lettings and disposals.
Led by partner, Paul Daniels, the team of 21 fee earners, including 12 partners, is currently dealing with a strong portfolio of property transactions with a combined value in excess of £260m. A number of partners in the team are also ranked as Leaders in their Field by legal directories Chambers & Partners or recommended by Legal 500.
The awards will take place on Thursday 18th October at the Thistle Grand Hotel in Bristol. Now in its fifth year, the event will look at the big issues facing the property industry, and how the global and national trends are reflecting in the South West.
