Withy King embarks on a Summer of Sport for charity

Staff from Withy King will be taking part in a number of sporting challenges this summer to raise money for good causes.

On Saturday (17 May), a team will join the Walk for Life along the Kennet and Avon Canal, from Bath to Devizes, to raise money for the RUH’s Forever Friends Appeal.

This will be followed on the 12 June with the Three Peaks Challenge which will see a team of 24 walkers and four drivers from Withy King scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in less than 24 hours.

And finally, teams will be participating in the 60-mile Bike Bath cycle ride on 28 June and Bike Oxford cycle ride on the 7 September.

Chris Kane, a partner at Withy King, who will be taking part in the sporting challenges for charity, said: “We are committed to making a positive impact on the communities we work in. As part of our on-going activities to support our nominated charities we are pushing our physical fitness to the extreme to embark on a fantastic Summer of Sport.”

Withy King’s three chosen charities for the year are Bath’s Forever Friends Appeal, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Headway Oxfordshire and the proceeds will be divided between them.
