Wildfowl and Wetland Trust (WWT) benefit from full risk review

We already had a well established relationship with the charity’s management team as trusted advisers on a wide range of legal issues. We standardised all their documentation across the various functions and produced best-practice guidance notes, as well as creating new policies and procedures aimed at highlighting and reducing risk exposure. Finally we produced a strategic agenda for the management team and the trustees highlighting the key areas of risk they needed to address to protect the charity’s interests.

The charity has benefited from more efficient and effective working practices while minimising its external risk profile. The review has also resulted in an improved cultural awareness of risk throughout the organisation.

Nicola Spencer, director of Finance at WWT commented that, "services levels and response times are so high that it seems as if we are your only client."
