RWK Goodman nominated for Legal Advisor of the Year at 2025 EntreConf Awards

Client support and a year of growth across the board has seen RWK Goodman nominated for Legal Advisor of the Year at an awards focusing on innovation and entrepreneurialism in the south west.
The firm has been shortlisted in the 2025 EntreConf awards following a steady increase in client work and team expansion over the previous 12 months, particularly in the firm’s Bristol office.
The award recognises law firms that have acted as trusted and innovative advisors to entrepreneurs and businesses across the south west, with a particular focus on providing advice on transactions, funding rounds, corporate structures, and IP.
Over the qualifying period between April 2024 and March 2025, the firm’s corporate team saw significant expansion, advising on more than 30 M&A transactions and recruiting eight new members to meet increasing demand for work.
The expansion tied into the strong growth and development of the firm’s Bristol office, which opened in March 2024 and has since seen numerous partners hired into it.
Venture capital partner Scott Preece and planning partner Stephen Jefferson joined in September 2024, real estate partner Rhodri Glyn in October 2024, and dispute resolution partner Simon Price and commercial partner Mike Ahyow in April 2025.
James Worrall, head of RWK Goodman’s corporate team, said: “It’s brilliant to see the firm has been nominated for this year’s EntreConf Awards off the back of a strong year of growth and continued high-quality client support across the south west and further beyond.
“There’s few positive stories within the region’s legal industry quite like the boom in our Bristol office over the last year, and the support we’ve been able to deliver to entrepreneurs and businesses of all shapes and sizes has been levelled up as a result of a strong ambition and commitment from all of our wider team to grow further.”
The winners will be announced at Aerospace in Bristol on October 2.
