Royds team return to the Spring Fair

Our experienced team were on hand to answer queries from clients in the homewares, fashion accessories and gifts and jewellery industries.

Royds has a long association with the show, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC and is the largest trade fair of its kind in the UK.

Stephen Welfare, head of Royds’ intellectual property team and an adviser to organisations such as the British Jewellers’ Association (BJA), has been attending the show for 20 years.

“The Spring Fair is an incredible event which attracts tens of thousands of people from around the world and is an ideal opportunity for companies to come and speak to us about any legal issues they may have.

“Whether you’re a start-up firm or an established business, it is important that your designs are protected. Our team can provide speedy advice about possible infringements of intellectual property laws, as well as answering any other questions or concerns.”

The Spring Fair takes place at the NEC each February and is now in its 65th year. More than 300,000 new products are launched over the course of five days, with around 3000 exhibitors in attendance.

At Royds, our experts can provide comprehensive advice on all aspects of intellectual property law affecting business. For more information please visit our website or contact Stephen Welfare or John North.
