Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) supports Business Barometer

The Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has joined Withy King as a partner on its Oxfordshire Business Barometer. The quarterly Barometer, run by law firm Withy King in association with the Oxford Times and In Business magazine, surveys the region’s business decision-makers on topical issues of importance to the county. It also tracks trends relating to turnover, headcount, investment and confidence.

The latest quarterly survey focuses on the Oxford and Oxfordshire City Deal and is now live via https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Y8YXWBJ – with participants automatically entered into a prize draw to win an iPad Mini. The survey closes at 5pm on Monday.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome the Oxfordshire LEP on board as a partner,” said Richard Baxter, head of the corporate team at Withy King in Oxford. “Now approaching the end of its second year, the Barometer has been warmly received by businesses across the county and we are grateful for their on-going support. We look forward to adding even greater value through our involvement with the LEP.”

“Joining forces with Withy King and being a part of the Oxfordshire Business Barometer survey is an important step for the LEP,” said Adrian Shooter, LEP Chairman. “The feedback and information we receive from businesses taking part in the survey will play an important part in widening our dialogue with businesses. It will help us to understand the major issues they face and crucially it will guide our efforts and resources to support them more effectively, helping them to grow and create more jobs.”

The results of the Oxfordshire Business Barometer are published quarterly in In Business magazine with the Oxford Times as well as online. They are also circulated to businesses via email. Those taking part in the survey benefit from prize incentives, free publicity and networking opportunities via the LinkedIn group entitled ‘Oxfordshire Business Barometer’.
