City solicitors return to international trade show

City-based law firm Royds will again be offering advice to exhibitors at the forthcoming Spring Fair.

The team will be fielding questions and offering guidance to businesses from the homeware, gifts, fashion accessories and jewellery industries.

Royds has a long-standing association with the international trade show, which is held annually at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC).

Stephen Welfare, head of Royds’ intellectual property team, said: “I have been attending this event for over 20 years and despite the onset of the internet and online business the show remains an important showcase for products and business forum, with visitors travelling from across the UK and overseas.

“There are typically around 3,000 exhibitors in attendance and many of them will be unveiling their new designs. Inevitably there will be questions and concerns expressed about intellectual property rights and this is an ideal opportunity to seek expert legal advice.”

This year’s event runs from February 7th-11th.
