Action Mesothelioma Day is an annual event held on the first Friday in July every year. Mesothelioma is an incurable cancer caused by asbestos exposure and the day is now dedicated to remembering those who have lost their lives to the disease and to support those living with the condition and their families. In addition, the day aims to raise awareness of the devastation caused by asbestos exposure which continues to affect so many in the UK and around the world.
