Whilst most deaths are related to smoking, many are also caused by environmental exposure and, of course, exposure to asbestos. Due to the nature of asbestos-related diseases and the fact that they tend to develop decades after asbestos exposure has occurred it can often be difficult to find the evidence required to prove a legal claim. This is sometimes even more difficult when we are handling a fatal case, where the person with the asbestos-related disease has sadly died and was not able to provide a witness statement in their lifetime.

Storms Ciara and Dennis hit the UK and countries in Europe recently, bringing a wave of damage and disruption. Strong winds and heavy rainfall caused major disruption to travel services, led to significant flooding in some parts of the country and caused a number of power cuts.
