A kickstart to Christmas supporting the Myotubular Trust
The sheer talent on display was quite awe-inspiring particularly the violin performances from the very young artistes Louisa and Samuel Staples.
The whole production was beautifully and cleverly put together, classical music performances being interspersed with short readings by the celebrity guests and carols sung with audience participation so that the time literally seemed to fly by.
All, of course, with the Christmas theme and in a totally atmospheric setting.
It was obvious that not only had a huge amount of hard work gone into the organisation but also a great deal of consideration of the content.
A full review of the production appears on the charity’s web site https://www.myotubulartrust.com/fundraising_christmasconcert.htm
Hence, I would not intend to repeat all that is already stated on there but suffice it to say that this was a fantastic start to the Christmas festivities and a marvellously traditional way to get into the Christmas spirit.
A truly professional and magnificent show, of which the Trust can be extremely proud and with which Royds should be pleased to be associated. I would certainly urge anyone who has the opportunity to attend next year’s performance to do so.
