£750,000 awarded to our client for mis-managed limb ischaemia

The limb required urgent bypass graft surgery but the hospital negligently failed to take action in time, the delay in diagnosing the critical condition of the limb and undertaking bypass grafting lead to the limb becoming ischaemia, which in turn led to necrosis. Unfortunately the limb could not be saved and our client required a below knee amputation of her leg.

Compensation was achieved in order to procure additional help and assistance for our client including, adaptions to her property, aids and equipment, additional care and assistance and funds to pay for private medical treatment going forward.
