Contentious Estates Workshop

Christopher Jones of St John's Chambers and Calum Campbell of RWK Goodman will facilitate a practical and informative workshop on the administration of contentious estates. Knowing how to respond claims and demands is vital.

The workshop will explore the various options open to the busy (contentious and non-contentious) probate lawyer, and look at what to do when it all goes wrong.

Who is this event for?

This seminar is aimed at solicitors and will writers who deal with contentious and non-contentious estates.

Topics include:

  • Dealing with the initial skirmishes
  • Making and responding to Court applications
  • Limited grants
  • Distributions in the face of claims and threatened claims

The seminar will begin with delegates divided into groups each to consider the topics above, followed by an open discussion on the questions posed.

Drinks and canapés will be served after the seminar, with the opportunity to network with fellow professionals.
