Children’s charity to benefit from lawyers quiz night

A children’s charity is set to benefit from raffle proceeds raised at a charity quiz night.

City lawyers Royds LLP invited their charity clients and contacts to form teams to participate in the quiz night at Patch Bar on Carter Lane, St Paul’s in London on Wednesday 8th October.

More than 50 people in eight teams took part in the quiz, with the winning team Nia Children’s Foundation receiving the proceeds of £140 raised from a raffle held on the night, the raffle prizes having been donated by Royds.

Founded in 2010, Nia supports two schools in Kenya, providing food and educational supplies to help hundreds of children receive daily nutritional meals and enable them to attend school and receive a basic education.

Deanna Hurst of Royds’ Charities Unit said: “It was a fantastic evening’s entertainment which also raised money for a really good cause.

“Thank you to everyone who supported this event.”
