RWK Goodman has been recognised for a strong year of supporting clients across all areas of family law and advocating for wider change with two award wins at a leading family law awards ceremony.

The firm won the Family Law Firm of the Year – Regional category at the 2025 LexisNexis Family Law Awards for its achievement of major growth across the practice area in both the expansion of the team and the number of high-profile and complex matters both domestically and internationally, with the judges noting that “going from strength to strength, this law firm provides top tier expertise with a powerful sense of purpose helping bereaved families and driving change with George’s Law”.

The awards, held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London and hosted by actor and comedian Miles Jupp, were decided on by a large network of experts across the industry and recognises firms that have ‘demonstrated it has provided outstanding quality of legal service for its clients and has displayed high levels of teamwork’ with the wider industry.

Richard Ellis, head of RWK Goodman’s Family team, said: “It’s an incredible honour to be named the Regional Firm of the Year at this year’s LexisNexis Family Law awards as it reflects the outstanding commitment and growth from our entire team over the course of the last 12 months.

“We’ve seen significant expansion both in the team itself which have brought in new avenues of expertise and experience while also being trusted by our clients to handle larger profile and more complex matters, and this achievement reaffirms the dedication shown by every member to go the extra mile in supporting our clients.”

In addition, London partner Keeley Lengthorn won the Family Law Champion award for her tireless efforts on her George’s Law campaign, which advocates for the introduction of bereavement leave for parents who lose a baby under 24 weeks gestation.

Keeley said: “The impact that this campaign for George has brought to so many already has been overwhelming, but to be recognised for the years of hard work and commitment to advocate for this wider change in this manner is incredibly touching. I’m honoured to be named this year’s Family Law Champion and I can’t wait to continue advocating for this vitally important part of the legal sector.”

The firm also achieved a Highly Commended in the Children’s Law Team of the Year award, with partner Kim Lehal also shortlisted on the evening in the International Family Lawyer of the Year category.
